Dunman Kiriag - owner of The Lonesome Tankard Inn and Taveren

He is often seen wearing practical clothing sutable for working at the inn, such as a tunic and trousers, and carries a hidden small dagger sheathed in one sleeve.

He is fiercely loyal to his friends and his inn, and will go to great lengths to protect them. However, he is also a man of great discretion, and has a uncanny knack for sensing danger and remembering faces.

He is a former Purple Dragon officer and a member of the Six Splendid Swords, and has used potions of longevity to extend his lifespan. He is also a Crown agent and a Harper, working to protect the realm from threats. He has a near-perfect memory and is a skilled warrior and wild talent, with the ability to sense danger and block thoughts.

Dunman is driven by a strong sense of responsibility, and is always looking for ways to help others. Despite his gruff exterior, he has a soft spot for those in need, and is known for his kindness and compassion, which is why he is so popular with both travlers and the townsfolk. More than a few exhausted guests have been astonished to find him removing their boots and washing their feet after they have been slumped into a chair with a good tankard after a long day of walking.

Once a Sembian noble's bodyguard and later a Purple Dragon officer, Dunman is far older than he appears. He gained eight potions of longevity while looting a dragon's hoard about 160 winters ago, and he has used four of them.

Dunman is also a Crown agent and a Harper, working to protect the realm and its people from threats both external and internal. He is a skilled warrior and has a magic wild talent, with the ability to sense danger and block others' thoughts. He also has a near-perfect memory, and can remember faces he has seen decades ago, even if they are now disguised.

While a member of the Six Splendid Swords adventuring band, and he fell in love with one of his companions, a gold elf warrior-mage named Deularla "Hightower" Ithruen of Evermeet. Initially haughty, Deularla eventually came to love him and the two were married before a dragon attacked decimated the company and left Deularla as a scorched ruin. In her last act of strength, she used magic to transfer her essence into Dunman, where she now lives on as a companion, offering him warnings of danger, helping him to remember things, and offering wry advice. Because of Deularla's presence, Dunman has never felt the need to seek out any other intimacy and has never remarried. On occasion, Deularla is able to communicate with others through Dunman's lips and can be aware and speak while he is unconscious or asleep. She also retains some minor magical powers, such as the ability to send a shadowy image of herself up to 400 yards away, observe as if using a wizard eye for the same distance, and cure disease and neutralize poison in Dunman and others through his touch.

Currently he is working hard to get this beloved Lonesome Tankard Inn restored and are activly assisting Tessaril Winter with getting the right people to the right jobs.
